I’m a second year student of your university writing to tell you about myhumble opinions of the learning environment in our school.
Although we’re enjoying the modernized buildings equipped with advancedcomputers sufficient lights and well-installed desks and chairs we do find ithard for us to concentrate on study when we’re in the classrooms. For one thingthe annoying noise made by the vans and cars disturbs our studies. I am writing to put up some suggestions concerning our teaching and campus life.
As a sophomore from the Math Department, I am quite satisfied with the present condition of my university, but I餯 like to say that there is still some room for improvement.
First, I believe that more attention should be paid to the guidance of our study methods. To some extent, university students are capable of studying by themselves, but more often than never, we find ourselves at a loss as to choose good books to read and appropriate topics for our research. It is clear that we need some advice from our teachers. If our teachers can lecture more on how to learn by yourself for us, especially for the freshmen, our skills will be further improved.
Second, more activities should be conducted to make our campus life more colorful. I餸 sorry to say that the present life on campus is quite boring. Every day we have classes, read in the library, or stay in the dormitory. Life here is routine. We need more meaningful activities organized to enrich our college life and enable us to study more efficiently.

I don't know how to begin my account because the service is really bad.Please read my letter patiently and do something about it.We would be grateful for whatever you do for us students.
Firstly,the quality of the food is bad.For instance,the rice is too hard.What's more,some dishes are not fresh sometimes.As a matter of fact,the poor food has already caused some stomach problems among the students.
Secondly,the service is not good enough.Some staff members give us short measure when they are in a bad mood.Now and then they behave like robbers,robbing you of your appetite.Worst of alit they never smile.
Thirdly,the price is too high.A small cake made from rice and dates cost as much as 0.6 yuan!It will cost us a good 6 yuan to fill our stomach with such cakes.After all we are poor students.
I wish my opinion would call your attention to the canteen service on campus.We are badly in need of your help.

As a regular student at our college，I have some complaint to make about the canteen service on campus.
Firstly，the canteen environment is very bad. Actually，it is becoming more and more crowded and noisy with an ever larger presence of vocational students every term.
Secondly，the canteen workers are bad-mannered. Far from being warm and kind-hearted，they always seem to be cold and rude to us students.
Thirdly and most importantly，the dishes at our canteen are too expensive，though they are by no means good quality or delicious. The survey the Student Union carried out last week reveals that on average a student will spend 10 to 12 yuan on meals every day. This is for more than the food expenses of students in the neighborhood colleges.
Nutritious and delicious meals well within the students’means are very important for young students. I really wish measures could be taken to improve our canteen service.
