　　小年又叫“祭灶節(jié)”，在農(nóng)歷的.12月23或者24。在中國傳統(tǒng)中，祭灶節(jié)這天，是掌管全家命運(yùn)的神仙灶神將向玉皇大帝匯報(bào)這一家人一年的情況，玉皇大帝根據(jù)灶神匯報(bào)的情況決定在下一年對這一家的獎勵或者懲罰。小年這天，是各家歡送灶王爺上天的日子。

　　老百姓在這一天做糖瓜，希望灶神可以吃了糖瓜，多為自己家美言幾句，讓來年更加吉祥幸福。
