小學(xué)英語教學(xué)應(yīng)較多地采用采用認(rèn)知法,而不是直接法。
直接法即大量接觸真實(shí)的語言,進(jìn)行真實(shí)的交流,__大量重復(fù)模仿,強(qiáng)化記憶,養(yǎng)成習(xí)慣。視聽法、聽說法、交際法都屬于直接法。以直接法為主進(jìn)行教學(xué),一定要有語言環(huán)境,要有高水平的師資,班額要小,學(xué)習(xí)和使用英語的機(jī)會要多。認(rèn)知法不排除模仿,但由于缺乏語言環(huán)境,學(xué)習(xí)途徑主要是通過理性思維,學(xué)習(xí)語音、語法、詞匯知識,掌握語言規(guī)則,指導(dǎo)聽說讀寫,舉一反三,形成可持續(xù)發(fā)展的語言能力。英語在中國是外語,中國學(xué)生學(xué)英語,不論是小、中、大學(xué),都不能采用二語教學(xué)類型,而要以語言知識為拐杖,在運(yùn)用經(jīng)驗(yàn)學(xué)習(xí)的同時(shí),要注意理性認(rèn)知;對于小學(xué)生尤其要培養(yǎng)他們可持續(xù)發(fā)展的語言學(xué)習(xí)能力,不能排斥語言知識。
