In my understanding, if we refer to an ideal University life as a formal western dinner, then a high GPA, that is, Grade Point Average, should be the main course, while an active part in activities, together with associations, means the appetizer. Some romances, of course, play the role as desserts. They are the 3 key elements for an ideal University life.
Those, however, are not what University life is all about. As we all know, University is wildly different from middle school. It connects not only adolescence to adulthood, but also the ivory tower to the real society. Therefore, the ideal University life is that I become matured both physically and mentally, and that I obtain qualified academic knowledge and get well prepared for society at the same time.
Under this circumstance, I never expect my University life to be too ideal, or you can call it too perfect. It is not realistic to make all things on my own way, with everyone liking me, winning the first prize all the time, and so on. Of course, I’d like to lead a carefree life. However, this does little good to my future. What really helps is hardships like failure, betrayal, and unjust treatment. Only after experiencing those can I know what society is like, and what life is like.
To conclude my speech, I wanna say, some positive experiences are surely part of the ideal University life. But, I should not forget about the negative sides. They are not less necessary.

Skipping Classes on College Campus
In colleges and universities, the phenomenon of students skipping classes is not unusual. There are often some students who skip those classes for feeling unwell or other private reasons. Besides, still some students dont go to class without any reason but for they dont want to.
There are two main reasons for college students skipping classes. First, compared with in middle school, students have more freedom in college. It depends more on one students consciousness whether he will attend the class. So those students lacking self-discipline begin to skip classes. Second, some teachers lectures could not attract students interests so that some students would rather skip classes to study what they are interested in.

Recently more and more educator and common citizens suggest that universities colleges open more courses which are helpful for students' psychological health. Personally, I fully agree with their proposal for the following reasons.

Dear president, As a student of this university, I feel that it would be beneficial to express my views concerning the quality of the library service and unveil some of the existing problems in the library.
In the first place, we often exhaust our patience to look for books and journals related to our major on the shelves crammed with outdated shabby books.
Secondly, we all suffer the dim light and the absence of air conditioner in the reading room.
Worse still, the search engine in the library system often skips some valuable materials
and most keyboards of the library computers are in poor operation, which brings much inconvenience to the users.
Here are some feasible suggestions for your reference.
First of all, the library needs to improve its efficiency of purchasing new books and subscribing to academic journals.
On the other hand, the study rooms may be furnished with a better lighting system.
Last but not least, I would recommend the library system should be updated and the keyboards should be replaced with new ones.
