As we all know that no matter what country, it’s a tradition that men play a core role in family who always take the burden to earn money to support their family. In the first place, house husband may be a shame title for men, but when it comes to money, there is no room for reputation. As society develops, the life standard are rising, and everything for living is much expensive than before, if couples want to guarantee their life quality, then they should let the one who earn better to work, although the one is female.
首先，家庭主男對男性來說可能是一個可恥的稱呼，但當(dāng)談到錢的時候，名聲就站不住腳了。隨著社會的發(fā)展，生活水平的提高，生活中的一切東西都比以前昂貴了，如果一對夫婦要保證他們的生活質(zhì)量，那么他們應(yīng)該讓工資更高的人去工作，就算那個是女性也一樣。
In the second place, it’s fine for women to support family as long as they earn better than men. In the past, women always were treated very badly, and they got no rights to be educated, to work. In some countries, they can’t even show their face to others. A traditional female role is to stay at home, taking care of children and do all of the housework. But now, lots of women have a good job, so that they totally have the ability to be the economic backbone. Therefore, in order to take good care of family, men are likely to stay at home to do housework. I don’t think it’s a shame for men, because no matter what you do, as long as you do it well, you are successful.
第二，只要女性能比男性掙得更多，讓她們來支撐家庭也是可以的。在過去，女性一直被惡劣對待，他們也沒有受教育，工作的權(quán)利。在一些國家，她們甚至不能給別人看她們的臉。傳統(tǒng)的女性角色是呆在家里，照顧孩子，做所有的家務(wù)。但是現(xiàn)在，許多女性都有一份好的工作，他們完全有能力成為家里的經(jīng)濟(jì)支柱。因此，為了照顧家庭，男性更有可能呆在家里做家務(wù)。我不認(rèn)為這是男人的恥辱，因為無論你做什么，只要你做得好，你就是成功的。
To sum up, people should change their opinion about core role of a family. It’s acceptable for women to support the family, and there is no shame for men to do the housework. As long as you remember life quality comes first.

On one hand, the professor in charge of this course has impressed me most because she is not only knowledgeable but also patient. More importantly, it is this respectable teacher who spurs my interest to English harder and broadens my horizon as well. Until now, what she said in the class often occurs to my mind. On the other hand, there are many discussions in the classroom when we have lessons. We are allowed to talk freely about a movie, the topic ranging from the theme of a film to its casting. So, during the talk, we become increasingly open-minded. And undoubtedly a brain open to everything carries great importance to study, work and life.
Generally speaking, the course on appreciating English films has impressed me most for it is not only instructive but also entertaining. And therefore, I suggest that more similar courses should be offered in the university.
