上學大后，俺最鄭重地告訴自己的一句話是：學通你的專業(yè)，利用它為你的人生開辟道路。于是俺以交際英語為方向，首先側(cè)重于打好基礎(chǔ)，從聽、說、讀、寫幾方面訓練基本技能，在達到自如地運用英語的基礎(chǔ)上，俺涉獵了英美概況、英美文學、語言學等相關(guān)專業(yè)識知。同時，俺還自學了部分經(jīng)貿(mào)英語識知，這些努力不僅使俺的專業(yè)水平每年都有相應提高，而且擴展了視野、豐富了頭腦，并使俺于大二時以良好的成績通過了英語專業(yè)四級考試，還將于明年三月參加專業(yè)八級測試。
深知語言交際作用的重要性，俺特別注重學以致用。除了積極地、有選擇地參加院、校組織的活動外，俺還時常參加英語角，陪同外國訪問團，翻譯一些資料，在課外輔導班做兼職教師等。這讓俺有機會結(jié)交了很多朋友，豐富了閱歷，而且感到生活更加充實。
俺沒有任何引人注目的特長，也不善于導領(lǐng)人，所以三年多來只是通過盡心盡職地習學和作工而得到了大家的認可，但有一點俺絕對可以保證，了解俺的人也定會認可，那就是只要俺接手的.事，俺一定會付出百分之百的精力去做好，憑著這股勁兒和幾年來的識知經(jīng)驗，俺的第一次試講被指導教師作為典范講評，俺在今年九月的實習中獲得優(yōu)異成績。

During the two years of studies at Fu Dan University, I have not only acquired a lot of knowledge of international commercial law, but learned two foreign languages as well -English and Japanese.
