Yesterday afternoon, when I was sitting in the classroom and listening to the teacher. Suddenly, the screen seemed moving and it started to shake. My teacher stopped his class and then he asked us to calm down. He let the students who were close to the door left first, and then the rest of us ran out of the classroom one by one.
After a while, everything seemed to be normal, the teacher asked us to go back to the classroom. Later I learned that there indeed came the earthquake. I admired our teacher so much, in the important moment, he did not run away, but considered us in the first place. He is a good teacher.

What is language for? Some people seem to think it’s for practising grammar rules and learning lists of words —the longer the words the better. That’s wrong. Language is for the exchange of ideas, for communication.
The way to learn a language is to practise speaking it as often as possible. A great man once said it is necessary to drill as much as possible, and the more you apply it in real situations, the more natural it will become.
Learning any language takes a lot of effort. But don’t give up.①Relax! Be patient and enjoy yourself. Learning foreign languages should be fun. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Work harder and practise more. Your hardworking will be rewarded by God one day. God is equal to everyone!
Use a dictionary and grammar guide constantly. Keep a small English dictionary with you at all time. When you see a new word, look it up. Think about the word — use it, in your mind, in a sentence.
Try to think in English whenever possible. When you see something, think of the English word of it; then think about the word in a sentence.
Practise tenses as much as possible. When you learn a new verb, learn its various forms.
I would also like to learn more about the culture behind the language. When you understand the cultural background, you can better use the language.

Later that day she left her flat and walked to the bus stop to catch the bus. Joan was wearing a T-shirt and skirt as it was quite hot. As she sat on the bus she looked out of the window. The sun was shining. She saw a plane going over a forest and some horses in the fields.
Before long she arrived at the seaside and met Dave. They went down to the beach and had their picnic next to a rock. They had sandwiches and crisps, and Dave painted a picture. They had a lovely day.

Recently the rise in phenomenon of the graduates signing up for the army has aroused public concern. According to a research, about 31% of graduates sign up for the army this year, which sets a new record during these ten years.
最近在高校畢業(yè)生現(xiàn)象的增加引起了公眾的關(guān)注。根據(jù)研究表明，今年大約31%的畢業(yè)生報(bào)名參軍，創(chuàng)下近十年來(lái)的記錄。
The reasons why so many graduates sign up for the army can be complicated. First of all, most of them are attracted by the outstanding treatment. Besides, joining the army can release the pressure of looking for the job. Finally, a number of graduates treat the army as a group which can strengthen their bodies and train their mental strength.
那么多畢業(yè)生報(bào)名參軍的'原因是很復(fù)雜的。首先，大部分人是被其豐厚的待遇所吸引;除此之外，參軍可以減輕找工作的壓力;最后，有些畢業(yè)生把軍隊(duì)看作是可以加強(qiáng)身體素質(zhì)和加強(qiáng)心理素質(zhì)的一個(gè)群體。
As far as I concerned, I agree on the opinion that the army can train graduates well, but I doubt it can solve the problem of obtaining employment. So I call on treating signing up for the army properly.
就我而言，我同意軍隊(duì)可以好好的培養(yǎng)畢業(yè)生，但我對(duì)它能解決就業(yè)問(wèn)題表示懷疑。所以我覺(jué)得應(yīng)該參軍也要適當(dāng)。
