背景篇
自薦信一般來說其本原也不過就是將自己的實際情況介紹一下而已，有什么說什么就是了，可是這個東東卻早已不是當(dāng)年的吳下阿蒙了，有的自然少不了，沒有的更是要說個天花亂墜。反正那么多的人，他也沒精力沒時間一一核對。況且，有些東東是根本就沒有辦法核對的----我說我比別人多長了一個腦袋所以聰明，他當(dāng)然會說：“哎呀，我就看見一個，該不是我看錯了吧。”可是，如果你說，我因為比別人多長了一顆心，所以心理素質(zhì)特別好。想來如果他在生理方面毫無知識的話，沒準(zhǔn)也就信了。畢竟這種東西是“看”不出來的。說的雖然夸張了一點，想來意思大家也了解了。

技巧策略篇
人是個性的人,個性的人自然應(yīng)該寫出個性的東西。所以自薦信也是有性格的。只有有性格的，才確保他眾里尋她千百度，驀然回首看到你的概率趨近于100%。下面就是幾種常用的模式：
1.令狐沖型
其實，大多數(shù)公司所需要的人才只是讓人才去做一件事情。它也就只關(guān)心你在那方面的能力，連篇累牘的自我介紹而恰恰沒有他所關(guān)心的東西，一萬句也只等于一句。而一但說中了他所想要的哪怕就這一點，一句就等于一萬句。真的突出重點，遠(yuǎn)比什么都練強，內(nèi)功的沒有，拳腳的不懂，就憑一路獨孤九劍照樣縱橫天下。再者，獨孤九劍最大的特點乃在于無招勝有招，制敵機先。針對不同的人出不同的`招。舉個例子吧，假如你是個賣辣椒的，有人來買辣椒問你辣不辣，你該怎么回答呢?那你自然就要觀察了，假如這個人一臉的痘痘，我想你已經(jīng)知道答案了，我們的辣椒絕對一點都不辣!
2.虛竹型
這一種可能對于各方面條件好的人比較適合。因為你已經(jīng)很優(yōu)秀了，完全沒有必要再刻意的把自己渲染一番，紅花綠葉好看，可是大紅配大綠就過了，就不可信了。在周圍每個人都把自己說的跟天仙似的時候，作為優(yōu)秀的你倒不如用平實的語言介紹自己。
反過來說，如果你實在沒有什么能獻(xiàn)的出來的東西，也同樣可以采取這種方式。什么也不說，讓別人覺得你特別老實，特別謙虛，當(dāng)然還要有點巧妙的暗示，你其實是個特別牛的人，只是沒說出來而已。反正也是一無所有，賭一把沒準(zhǔn)還就中了頭彩。其實好多來的人智商比咱們可是低多了咱們也沒騙他，天要下雨，娘要嫁人，由他去好了。
3.神雕俠型
楊過到了后來之所以被人稱為神雕俠，俠字的含義不去講，不離左右的神雕也是個重要因素。因為有了這只神雕，所以神雕俠在做了俠義之舉之后，那些受了他恩惠的人就可以把他稱作神雕俠，而不是這個人，那個人，什么什么的一個人，如果那樣很難將這許多事情統(tǒng)一到一個人身上?？梢姉钸^能夠在短時間內(nèi)名滿天下，在神雕這里也得了不少好處。自薦信也是一樣，不僅要寫的漂亮而且還應(yīng)該有自己的特點。

申請研讀的學(xué)位越高，以往的科研、學(xué)術(shù)成果和工作經(jīng)驗等等就越是重要。許多申請者錯誤地認(rèn)為自己發(fā)表的文章已經(jīng)列在履歷里面了，在 自薦書 中就不應(yīng)該再提。其實，個人履歷是一份完全不同的文件。它是對個人經(jīng)歷的一種簡潔而全面的介紹，使得讀者對申請者能夠很快有一個大致的了解。 自薦書 則是需要(或是希望)讀者仔細(xì)閱讀的，它要介紹申請者的成就、抱負(fù)和個人品德。所以申請者不用擔(dān)心內(nèi)容上的重復(fù)。還有許多申請者硬是要把 自薦書 的篇幅壓縮在一頁紙內(nèi)，因而只能很簡要地提到自己的成就。其實，如果內(nèi)容充實，為什么不能寫到二至三頁呢?比如說到發(fā)表的論文，往往只提到一個題目。其實，寫一篇科研論文往往是要付出巨大心血的。這不光是寫篇文章，而是反復(fù)的科學(xué)論證和無數(shù)次實驗的結(jié)晶。申請者起碼應(yīng)該用二至三個句子，說明這篇論文所代表的實驗、實驗用的方法、目的和獲得的成績。還應(yīng)該說明通過發(fā)表這篇(或這幾篇)論文，申請者在這一領(lǐng)域做出了什么貢獻(xiàn)，獲得了哪些思想方法、認(rèn)識和科研手段上的提高。
還有的申請者犯的是一個相反的錯誤，他們把高中甚至更早的成就也不厭其煩地列在自薦書上。比如當(dāng)上了三好學(xué)生、少先隊長之類的。因為中國學(xué)生申請的學(xué)位最低的也是碩士研究生，大學(xué)時期的成績或是隨后工作上的成就更為貼切，也應(yīng)該足以用作素材了。當(dāng)然，少兒時期的成就，若是對隨后的學(xué)術(shù)道路產(chǎn)生了重大的影響的，也可以提。有的申請者對某一學(xué)科，比如說數(shù)學(xué)，情有獨鐘，很早就顯露出天才，在中學(xué)時期就在數(shù)學(xué)競賽中獲獎，由此激發(fā)了對此學(xué)科的強烈興趣，從此矢志不渝。這樣提就非常妥當(dāng)。

還有的申請者犯的是一個相反的錯誤，他們把高中甚至更早的成就也不厭其煩地列在自薦信上。比如當(dāng)上了三好學(xué)生、少先隊長之類的。因為中國學(xué)生申請的學(xué)位最低的也是碩士研究生，大學(xué)時期的成績或是隨后工作上的成就更為貼切，也應(yīng)該足以用作素材了。當(dāng)然，少兒時期的成就，若是對隨后的學(xué)術(shù)道路產(chǎn)生了重大的影響的，也可以提。有的申請者對某一學(xué)科，比如說數(shù)學(xué)，情有獨鐘，很早就顯露出天才，在中學(xué)時期就在數(shù)學(xué)競賽中獲獎，由此激發(fā)了對此學(xué)科的強烈興趣，從此矢志不渝。這樣提就非常妥當(dāng)。
